Who's Got Your Back?

In all the books on entrepreneurship that I've been reading, one thing is clear: business is about serving other people. Keith Ferrazzi is the Dale Carnegie of our day and this quick media reel illustrates the premise of his new book "Who's Got Your Back?". Lesson of the day is Be Vulnerable in life! Surround yourself with awesome people and connect with them on a level that establishes mutual trust and loyalty -- this is the first key step to success!

LinkedIn iPhone App Gets Much Needed Overhaul

Similar to the major facelift that the Facebook App got a couple months back, LinkedIn has given its business networking application an overhaul that LinkedIn/iPhone users have been dying for! After playing around with the app for a bit, I'd say that this is a game-changer for LinkedIn -- bringing functionality to not only the app, but to the entire network and service. It's a slick interface, with smooth functionality and the ability to browse and connect with your network. The biggest new feature is the "In Person" button, which allows you to link up and exchange "digital business cards" over bluetooth! This is a major time saver -- now I won't have to spend hours entering all that contact info in my address book and then searching for them on LinkedIn. If only they could make the main site as sexy as this app, it may well prove its worth!
